Terms of service

1. Who we are

Aoken Extract and aokenlabs.com are provided by Bander Alshammari, an individual operating under a freelance certificate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, trading as Aoken Labs ("we", "us"). Contact: support@aokenlabs.com. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you use it for a business, you confirm you can accept them for that business.

2. Purchases through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase; these terms apply to your use of the service.

3. The service

Aoken Extract converts PDF documents and images that you upload into tables you can download as Excel (XLSX) or CSV files. An AI model reads each page and automated checks review the result. Limits per upload: 50 pages and 20 MB. We may change features and limits, and we will not reduce what a pack you already bought includes.

4. Page packs

• A page pack is a one-time purchase of an allowance to convert a number of pages. One PDF page or one image uses one page.
• Pages can be used for 12 months from purchase. Unused pages then expire.
• Pages have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold, exchanged for money, or used anywhere except Aoken Extract.
• Pages that fail to convert, or that our checks flag as unreliable, are returned to your pack. Refunds follow our refund policy.

5. Your documents

You keep all rights to the documents you upload and to the results. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you. Uploads and results are deleted automatically within 24 hours. We do not use them to train AI models. Details are in our privacy policy.

You must have the right to upload each document, and processing it must not break any law or obligation that applies to you (for example confidentiality or data-transfer rules).

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to:

• process documents that are illegal, or that you obtained or share unlawfully;
• forge, alter or falsify documents, or help anyone commit fraud;
• overload, probe or interfere with the service, or bypass its limits;
• access it through automated means other than features we provide for that purpose;
• resell the service, or share an account, without our written agreement.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules. Where we can, we tell you why first.

7. Accuracy: check before you rely

Automated extraction can make mistakes, especially with poor scans and handwriting. We flag cells our checks doubt, but we cannot guarantee every value is correct. Check results before you rely on them for accounting, tax, legal or financial decisions. The service does not give accounting, tax or legal advice.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. We may pause it for maintenance or security.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for page packs in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time by emailing us. Unused pages are then lost, unless the refund policy entitles you to a refund. We may close accounts that break these terms; if we close yours without such a reason, we refund your unused pages.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We change the date above and, for significant changes, email account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without depriving you of the protection of mandatory consumer law where you live.
